honestly, im a little scared for this film, first, it is hard to make a film based from a manga, most of what ive seen, the movie doesnt meet the viewers expectations.
2nd. fanatics always claim that the movie butchered the manga.
3rd. fanatics never get satisfied.
4th. other comments, pls read no. 3.
so far, ive read good reviews about the film, but its a different story when gantz fanatics watch it.

ok. iwas looking for some gantz - nino picture WHEN i encountrered this blog about gantz manga becoming a film, and most commenters are gantz fans, so naturally they were waiting for the film. AND THEN i read this comment....

The first installment of GANTZ will be released on Jan 29 2011 while GANTZ: Part II is slated for April 23. However, cities around the US will get a dubbed, one-night-only world premiere of part one on January 20 (see here).
